Greg is an avid surfer who practises yoga & Tai Chi. Whilst following a macrobiotic diet.

The reason for becoming Macrobiotic, Vegetarian or Vegan are many whether for animal rights & cruelty or for health & wellbeing issues, I believe the Macrobiotic dietary approach keeps us mentally & physically healthy. We are using organic wholegrains & wholegrain products, vegetables, beans, seeds, nuts, seaweeds, fruit & dried fruit as our principal foods.
Macrobiotics helps us to prevent major diseases & may also help in the reversal back to health from disease & aliments.

It makes more environmental sense to reduce our consumption of meat which is directly relative to the loss of rainforest, land degradation & also affecting our planetary oxygen quantity & quality.

As far as weight loss in concerned, macrobiotics provides most of the answers. As soon as we reduce or avoid our use of meat, diary, sugar & refined foods along with deep fried fast foods, we see a dramatic change in ones weight along with increased vitality.

So along with being able to treat most of the major diseases of modern society we can also teach the next generation the way of eating a balanced nutritious diet.

Not to mention that it tastes fantastic & is always varied as it moves with the seasons, our personal feelings & energy requirements.
